Parent involvement in our school
We know that parents and carers play a vital role in our pupils' learning. We involve our parents in a number of ways to ensure they know what their children are learning, and how they can support that learning at home.
Parent Champions
Dear Parents / Carers,
We would love to find parents who would like to become a Parent Champion for another parent who is in your child’s class or year group extended bubble. A Parent Champion would be someone who would be happy to connect with other parents and help in terms of picking up their child and dropping them off to school if their parent is unwell or offering to have a wellbeing phone call chat to say hello. It could be that you may wish to connect with other parents to engage in a hobby such as remotely cooking together, having coffee together, reading together, having a socially distant walk in the park etc.
A lot of this will take the form of phone calls or video calls with the nature of the current lockdown, but we would like to still make the most by connecting as many parents together as possible and look after one another's wellbeing.
If you would like to offer any help to another parent in your year group bubble, please email the school stating:
· your full name
· your child’s full name and class
· what help you would like to offer - please be as specific as you can
Please see the attached flyer for further information and let us know if you have any questions or further suggestions.
Kind regards,
Earlham Primary School Parental Engagement Team
